Happy 2024!!

A very Happy 2024 to all!

At GHDN we are looking forward to an amazing second year! 2023 saw a great deal of growth both in children attending and staff recruited! We are delighted to have welcomed so many families to GHDN and would to say a huge thank you for all the support you have given us over this first year.

This year is starting well with a visit from the Kitty International School from Tokyo. We had children staying with us for a week with one of their teachers. After their visit we will be continuing our connection with them in monthly video calls between the children. We have also formed connections with children in Congo through one of our pupils.

GHDN will be focussing on planting seeds with the children in the next month so that we can begin to grow our own vegetables. We aim to provide a little oasis of green in our playground.  

Our curriculum will embrace our multi-cultural aspects when we begin to explore different countries this year. From animals to flags, food to weather and beyond, the children will learn from their peers about their cultural capital.
